WHAT IT COSTS YOU
Nothing. The price you pay is the same whether you use my link or type the title into Amazon yourself. Amazon pays the commission out of its own margin, not by adding to your total.
If you would rather not send me the commission, that is fine. Search the title directly, or better, check your local library. The point is that you read the book.
WHAT I ACTUALLY EARN
Amazon pays a percentage of the purchase price on qualifying orders. For books that rate is small, typically a few percent, which works out to cents on a paperback and not much more on a hardcover.
This is not an income stream. It offsets what I spend building and hosting this site. I am telling you the size of it so you can weigh my recommendation accurately.
THE STANDARD
Every book in the Library is one I have read or own. Nobody paid to appear there. No publisher, author, or vendor has ever bought a slot on this site, and if that ever changes I will label it on the page where it happens, not bury it here.
- I list books I have actually read or listened to. The list is pulled from my own library, not from a bestseller chart.
- A commission never moves a book up the list or onto it. The categories are organized by what the book does for a leader, not by what it pays.
- I link the book, not an edition I was told to push. Where a link resolves to a specific edition, that is a data match, not a paid placement.
- If I stop recommending something, it comes off the list. A dead recommendation earning a commission is a lie with a payout attached.
HOW TO SPOT THE LINKS
Any outbound link to Amazon on this site is an affiliate link. They carry a tracking tag in the URL and are marked rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source. Links to my own books, to publishers, or to anything else are not affiliate links unless the page says otherwise.

Prices, availability, and formats on Amazon change constantly, and anything shown on this site can be out of date by the time you click. The price displayed on Amazon at the moment of purchase is the one that applies.
